Join Sinclair Studio for a free Open House weekend exploring the Alexander Technique, its practical application to performance and everyday activity, and Sinclair Studio’s Alexander Technique Teacher Training program.

Introduction to the Alexander Technique
A practical introduction to the Alexander Technique and how it can help improve awareness, coordination and ease in everyday movement and activity.
Sun Sept 13th 9-12PM + 2-5PM:
Introduction to Alexander Technique Teacher Training
An introduction to the process of becoming an Alexander Technique teacher and Sinclair Studio's approach to teacher training, with a focus on applying the work to performance and functional activity.
Sat Sept 12th 5:30-7:30PM:
Thinking in Action
Explore how the Alexander Technique can be applied directly to performance, sport, athletic training and daily activities. Participants can bring a specific activity they would like to work with in class.

About Susan Sinclair
Susan Sinclair has been teaching the Alexander Technique for more than 30 years.
She works with musicians, dancers, singers and actors, as well as people dealing with injury and chronic pain.
Susan's background includes contemporary dance, contact improvisation and aerial dance; sailing, skiing, running and kayaking; and studies in Developmental Movement, the Feldenkrais Method and Tai Chi. She has also taught the Pilates Method since 1989.
Susan directs Sinclair Studio's Alexander Technique Teacher Training program, the only training in Canada dedicated to the lineage of Marjorie Barstow and the application of the Alexander Technique to performance and functional activity.
